Common Ground is a community event, in that it happens because many people work together and contribute what they can to make it beautiful.

You can help make Common Ground happen by;

• volunteering for helping with workshops,
• helping to lug water supplies around,
• helping with dish washing (always popular ;))
• helping to set up and pack up the show
• helping to set up dancefloor spaces
• helping to collect firewood for the bonfire
• picking up rubbish
• helping to set up the undercover areas
• taking care of yourself and others
• having an awesome time.
• And helping us pack up at the end :)

AND ESPECIALLY!!!!!

We would like you (yes YOU!) to help with the fire spectacular.

If you have a performance skill you want to show, here is your chance to show off in front of a very receptive audience.

However if you arent keen on performing in front of what could be quite a sizable crowd, there are many other ways you can contribute.

The importance of safety officers cannot be overstated. These are attentive people who are standing by watching the show ready with safety equipment and an action plan in the unlikely event of an accident (does this sound like YOU?).

We also need people to work backstage; organising performers, fire tools, dipping areas and more.

We will also need many people to play instruments to provide the musical accompanyment to the show.

We will need people to help set up and packup the show area.

So you can see that we need EVERYONE to participate in this show, to make it the best it can be. Remember - the show is the gift we are giving the community in which this event happens - so lets make it a good one, as the future of Common Ground rests in their hands.
